The Illustrations in this story are amazing and are used in a way that helps the story develop. The pictures are used to compliment the text within the story and they do so perfectly. This book is excellent for children because they would love the character of Stillwater the panda bear. This is a different type of story and students would love to hear a story coming from a wise panda.

This book would be useful when teaching students about the different cultures. This book can be used to show how the panda represents parts of Buddhism and Taoism. This is an excellent way for children to learn about different culture because they will fall in love with Stillwater. They will learn different views on the world and that not everyone in the world thinks like they do.
