Review by Ivette Thompson: I really enjoyed reading this book. The pictures are very colorful and some are very realistic. Some of the pictures are so realistic that I can picture young children wanting to touch it to see if it is really there or not There is a lot of repetition in this book, which makes it great for young readers. This book is also written using speech bubbles to show what the little boy, Louie, is saying and feeling. I really like that fact that this story does a great job at showing different emotions. If this book is read aloud, it would really catch young children’s attention with the frustrations that Louie is feeling. I could see myself reading this story with young children because it is a funny story that I think they would enjoy.
This book would be useful when teaching...

This book would be useful when teaching...
- this book could be useful to teach children about different emotions
- It could also be used to teach students to not give up and keep trying
- With older children to show how to use different forms of dialogue when writing a narrative( such as speech bubbles)
