Review by Kitty Anthony: I really like this book. I like how the illustrations of the pigeon are very simple and only made up of a few lines. This makes it easier for children to relate to the book since it looks like something a child would draw. The sentences are also simple and easy for young readers to read. The book is also very interactive because the pigeon actually talks to the readers and asks questions so that readers can respond back to the pigeon and interact with the book. This book would be useful when teaching… This would be a good book to teach young children about emotions. Since the pigeon gets upset throughout the book the teacher can explain to the students that they can't get everything they want. Also, they certainly cannot get everything by throwing a temper tantrum. |
