Summary of Professional Reviews: Only two reviews were available and indicate that it may be a little redundant because there are so many "Froggy" titles. The reviewers also believe that it may be a little confusing because students may not know the rules of baseball, but believe that the illustrations are entertaining.

Review by Sarah Custard: This story might be good for students that enjoy baseball, more likely young male students will enjoy this book. It may be a little hard for some of the students to enjoy the rules of baseball but also the jargin, like "catch some flies" or "run home". That could get confusing for some students if they have never watched baseball or played it before. The words seemed easily readable but the pages were long at some points. The illustrations were entertaining because Froggy and his family had very funny expressions throught the entire story and they also included good details. By the end of the book, some students may have stopped paying attention, so you have to be cautious when you choose to read this.

This book would be helpful in teaching different sports during school. When you are a classroom teacher, you may also function as a gym teacher, so you may need to know things about sports and by reading a book, you could also help children better understand a different sport. Children will mostly enjoy the pictures so it could be a way to teach the children colors because there are many included in just the cover picture.
