Review by Ashley:
The pictures are helpful for the children so that they can see what the rabbits are going to hop over and they can guess what they will go over next. The scenery can help the children relate to the world around them and the different animals portrayed in the book. This book is great for children who are in the process of learning how to read. There is repetition and smaller sentences that will help readers be successful like the Little Rabbit. The plot of this story will engage the children and have them identifying the different shapes, seasons, and animals in this book.
This book would be useful when teaching....
Hop! Hop! Hop! would be a nice book to help children get acquainted with different simple action sounds and the difference between big and little. It will also get them thinking about not giving up just like the little rabbit experienced.
