Review by Samantha Formato: This is a simple story about a little girl named Trixie. It has simple, yet original illustrations and is eye catching. The author did a wonderful job at illustrating the emotions of the characters and adding an original twist to the pictures. The text is simple, but intriguing as the author expresses Trixie’s love for her Knuffle Bunny and her attempts to get her father to understand what she is trying to say.
This book would be useful when teaching… This book would be helpful when teaching children about places. You could talk about what a laundry mat is and what you do there. You could also talk about the pictures and the places Trixie goes with her father. You could also talk about feelings and how Trixie tries to tell her father she doesn’t have Knuffle Bunny with out talking.
