It is full of spots, stripes, color, and texture all stand out in another visually dynamic look at the natural world from Lois Ehlert. The Kirkus review also revealed that thematic metalanguage of approaches lacks cohesion.
Review by Katie: Ehlert uses many simple shapes to display a variety of different animals. she describes the different animals in a small text while displaying vibrant creative designs on the pictures of the animals themselves. The vibrant colors and great descriptions leave for a very informational, creative book.
Lots of Spots would be useful when teaching kindergarteners about designs, patters, different animals and styles.
