This interesting book will help with math facts and the illustrations can amuse readers. This book has illustrations that will capture readers as they watch the adventure of the ants. The problem is laid out nicely, so that the students can follow along and also count the changes they make. The students will be able to feel the anger of the group at the end because of the little ant. This book would be useful when teaching... One Hundred Hungry Ants would be an interesting and helpful book when introducing and teaching the concept of division. The students can use the ants dividing to get to the picnic faster as a lesson on how they can make big numbers smaller with division. |
