Other reviewers said it was a "perfect, no twist hero fantasy" that is easily relatable for children. It is to be shared with young readers and it is highly recommended.
My Review: This book has a really nice message. The author had great detailed text the was accompanied by great artwork. Both the pictures and the written words show emotion that allows the reader to connect to the characters. I think the story was nicely written, and had a very endearing ending.
How to Use in the classroom: This book would be perfect for teaching students about fairness and friendship. It would be great for a read aloud and students could relate to the characters. I think this book could be a great prompt for writing stories about a special friend a student might have.
