Summary of Professional Reviews: Pezzettino lives in a world where everything is big and he is little. This story reflects the feelings of small children and being incorporated into a world filled with adults who are bigger than them, and do great things. Review by Stephanie Kuchavik: This story shows evidence of a kaleidoscope of colors and utilizes them to bring life into the book. Throughout the book it promotes the concept of identity and finding yourself; at a young age many children can relate that. Whereas this book may not be appropriate for independent reading for children of the ages of three to eight years old, it would be a great book to use for a read aloud. This book would be useful when teaching children between the ages of three and eight.
