Review by Ashley: I truly enjoyed this book because it reminded me of my childhood. I could remember doing all of the things described in the book that the children were engaging in. The rhyming nature of the text helps with the format and the book simply flows. The illustrations visually depict the children enjoying the snow and brighten the book. The light winter colors bring the book to life as you read it. This book would be useful when teaching... Snow Happy! is a good book to read to children on a snow day because of the feel and excitement portrayed in the book . Children will enjoy the lightness and fun of the children in this book as they can relate to everything. |
