Summary: Things to do when it snows while learning and understanding where it comes from.
Summary of Professional Reviews: The illustrations are very sweet--light and airy watercolor paintings that work especially well with the subject matter. The text is large and the sentence structure simple for early readers. There are a lot of facts about snow throughout the story and there is a whole page in the back of the book about snow too.
Review by Katie: The illustrations are light and simple, yet express a lot of meaning. The book snow goes through and explains what happens when it snows and Wallace does an amazing job at matching the pictures to the words. Bauer is able to describe through text different facts about snow, but they are in a simple way that children can understand. I really enjoyed reading this book and children will too!
Snow can be useful when teaching a weather lesson in the winter. It would be a great to explain where snow comes from and why.
