Review by Ashley:
I think this is an excellent book for young readers. The simple yet scientific vocabulary will have them learning about the concept of snow, while practicing reading. Children love snow and this book is a good way for them to learn how it is formed in order to appreciate it more. The pictures throughout the book look very realistic as they are portraying children playing the snow, different snowflakes, and snow in general. I am particularly fond of how the book is set up format wise because it goes through the process of snow.
This book would be useful when teaching...
Snow is a unique book to read during a science lesson to help students realize how snow is formed. Children get excited about snow and they could even have a project where they have to make different snowflakes out of paper.
