The illustrations in this book bring the story to life. You do not need words in this book because the pictures bring the story to life for you. The vividness of the pictures is just amazing and the detail in each picture is great. This book is an excellent book and I recommend this book because it is great for young children to use their imaginations and come up with stories themselves.
This book would be useful when teaching
This book would be useful when teaching a lesson about the world and how everyone in the world deserves to be treated the same. The one girl finds a book in the snow while the other child finds a book in the sand. They go through a series of adventures and finally meet. This is a great story for young children because you can tell them that no matter where someone is in the world they deserve your respect. Just because they live in a different place then you does not mean we should treat them differently.
