Summary: This nearly wordless picture book is about frogs who float and cause havoc on one Tuesday night. They jump in the pond before sunrise leaving the rest of the town curious.
Summary of Professional Reviews: Without any words Tuesday allows readers to form their own opinions and story line as to what is happening in the pictures provided. Having this freedom allows younger. This book has both the factor of realism and the imagination of a fantasy.
Review by Janelouise Fuscellaro: I thought this story was very creative and the plot is interesting. I enjoyed how the ending didn't just leave us, but to show how next Tuesday Pigs were taking off into the air. I absolutely love this pictures in this story. They are simply breathtaking and they make the whole story.
This book would be useful when teaching…
I would use this book when teaching about different literature in the classroom. Teaching children that some books have words, some have chapter, and some (This book) have just pictures. Together we could create a story line, having this freedom allows younger students to express their imagination and enjoy reading outside the box
