Shelby Wetzel's Review:
I believe that this book was a humorous book which was originally meant to teach about the different letters in the alphabet but then it turned into a lesson on manners and the importance of being patient and waiting your turn. I think that the author did an amazing job using humor to not only teach students about the alphabet but engaging them in the story which left even myself wanting to keep turning the page to see what happened next with the moose throughout the story.

How to Use it in the Classroom:
This book can be used in Early Childhood classrooms when teaching a lesson on the alphabet. This book can also be used to teach a lesson on being patient and waiting your turn. The teacher could lead a class discussion about why it was important for the Moose to wait is turn and what happened because he was being impatient. This book could be used to go over manners with the students as well.
